This was also a good way of setting up Mikey as the inevitable savior, as he consistently stayed one step ahead of his brothers. However, the show's previous attempt at parody in "Parasitica" was much stronger, and I think this week's episode did a good job in being more self-aware, using Michelangelo's horror comic book as a blueprint for the escalating events.
Admittedly, I was a bit hesitant about another '80s genre flick parody, since "Cockroach Terminator" was one of my least favorite episodes from Season 1.
